We’re building a network of people who can introduce us to companies and founders with private codebases or company records. You make the connection. We work directly with the owner to understand the material, review it and agree on a licence.
Why we’re looking for real-world data
Patronus AI builds environments and training material that help AI models learn to do real work. To make those environments useful, we look for the material behind the work: code that teams built and maintained, and records that show how companies made decisions and got things done. We license this material directly from the people and companies that own it. Patronus is the buyer. We review the material and work with the owner on the licence.
Who we work with
You might already know companies that fit, or you might be good at finding them. Either way, we’d like to hear from you. Our partners include accountants, advisers, fractional CFOs and CTOs, agency owners, founders, investors, operators and researchers. You don’t need to be a technical expert. We’ll share what we’re looking for and handle the review.
What we’re looking for: two kinds of material
Private codebases
Products and systems built and maintained by a company or founder. We’re especially interested in code that has its development history and supporting context, such as pull requests, issues and documentation.
Company records
Records that show how a company or team worked over time. These might include documents, messages, project histories, financial records and the decisions connecting them.
We’re interested in companies across industries and locations. We’ll share our current priorities with partners and help assess whether an opportunity is a fit. Examples of current interests:
- Codebases with years of development history
- Older systems that are still used to run a business
- Records from multiple functions covering the same period
- Records that show the steps behind a decision or completed project
How the partnership works
- Tell us about yourself. Complete the form below. We’ll review your details and follow up to learn more about the companies you know or how you find them.
- Find a potential fit. We’ll share what we’re looking for. When you find a company that might be a match, tell us what you know.
- Make an introduction. Introduce us to the owner or someone authorized to discuss the material. We’ll confirm their interest and speak with them directly.
- We take it from there. Our team handles the review, evaluation terms and any licensing discussions. You don’t need to negotiate the licence or handle the data.
- Track progress and get paid. You can follow the status of your opportunities through your partner page. Your agreement will explain when an opportunity qualifies and how payments work.
Partner compensation. Partners can be paid for qualified opportunities and receive a success fee when a licence is completed. We agree on the terms in writing.
