How we handle personal information.

What this site keeps about you, who sees it, and what happens to personal information in a sample or a licensed dataset.

What this site keeps

What you type into the forms: your name and email, the company, your answers and, if you introduce a company, the owner’s name and email. We also keep a one-way hash of your IP address to recognize repeated submissions, a cookie that remembers which data partner’s link you came from, and a cookie that keeps you logged in. If you connect GitHub, we measure the repositories you choose from a temporary read-only copy that is deleted afterwards. We keep the measurements, not the code.

Why

To reply to you, to decide whether the material fits, and to run the steps described under How it works.

Who sees it, and where it is kept

The Patronus data partnerships team. If a data partner introduced the company, they see where the introduction stands and the range they were shown, not the owner’s answers. It is stored on Google Cloud in the United States.

Samples and licensed material

Nothing is uploaded through this site. A sample is handled under the sample terms that come with the NDA: two named reviewers, an isolated location, and deletion with written confirmation. If a license follows, we replace personal information with consistent pseudonyms after acceptance and before any use, and the owner gets a report of what was replaced.

GDPR and HIPAA

Patronus is GDPR compliant and HIPAA compliant. If the material includes health information, or personal data of people in the EU or the UK, tell us when you confirm the details, and we agree how it is handled before any sample is shared.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete what you sent us, email data@patronus.ai. An owner can also say they are not interested on their own page, and we won’t contact them about it again.
